We are on a mission to reach every rural passionate learner through LIVE After-School Programs. We offer career guidance, foundational courses, language courses, vocational skills, and scholarships. Through our mentorship program, we help students complete school to successful careers.

What We Do

UCatapult Foundation is pioneering India's first ed-tech platform exclusively for secondary and senior secondary students from rural and tribal backgrounds, bridging critical educational gaps through our Digital Machaan program. We deliver live curriculum-based sessions in regional languages, equip students with Android laptops to ensure digital access, and provide tailored mentorship in career counseling and scholarship opportunities, all in close partnership with government and community stakeholders. How We Do It

Virtual Live Classes

Real-time virtual classes with expert teachers after school hours for classes VIII-XII students, offered separately in English and Marathi medium.

College Entry & Graduation Support

Our Methods

Implementation Excellence

Real-time Virtual Classes

Our subject experts facilitate live online classes for students of classes 8, 9, 10, and 11 from Ashramshala and Zilla Parishad schools across Maharashtra. Students join from their homes, hostels, and schools using laptops and mobile devices.

Interactive Engagement

Evening sessions are conducted in small groups, enabling teachers to address more queries and provide personalized feedback. This approach makes learning highly effective and engaging for every student.

Comprehensive Resources

Learners receive recorded sessions, daily homework assignments, and chapter-wise worksheets in both Marathi and English, catering to the linguistic needs and preferences of all students.

Mentorship Support

Our buddy program connects students with volunteers from premier institutions like IIT Powai, providing guidance on time management, communication, creativity, teamwork, and community awareness.

Scholarship & Admission Support

Class 12 students receive dedicated support from scholarship specialists to apply for various scholarship programs, college admissions, and financial aid opportunities.

Seamless Communication

WhatsApp community channels connect teachers and students for all class-related communications, resource sharing, and meeting coordination, ensuring accessibility and ease of use.

2021-2022

The Beginning

In partnership with Bihar government school teachers and a local NGO, our initiative launched on March 26, 2020, with the goal of empowering educators through our first enablement session.

  • On October 2, 2020, approximately 65 students from classes 6 and 8 participated in our first virtual class—a significant milestone
  • Reading English stories became the main focus of our alternative school class approach
  • Laid the foundation for scalable virtual education in rural areas

Maharashtra Expansion

We launched our Maharashtra chapter in September 2022 and initiated comprehensive teacher training in digital literacy.

  • Partnered with an NGO working with farmers to reach rural communities
  • Progressively onboarded ten Zilla Parishad schools
  • Five schools in Beed district and five in Jalgaon district joined our network
  • Established sustainable partnerships with local government bodies

Rapid Growth & Recognition

UCatapult Foundation significantly expanded its collaborations and achieved major milestones in program development.

  • Partnered with local government officials in Jalgaon and Dharashiv districts to onboard Zilla Parishad schools
  • Launched STEM literacy program providing 9,000 STEM books to 100 schools
  • Completed incubation with NSRCEL/IIM Bangalore
  • Selected for the Women Startup Initiative
  • Collaborated with Pratham Books for STEM library project

Scaling Impact

Our most ambitious year yet, with unprecedented reach and impact across Maharashtra.

  • Collaborated with District Collectors of Nandurbar and Jalgaon
  • Successfully onboarded 106 Ashramshala schools in Nandurbar
  • Onboarded 53 government and government-aided schools in Jalgaon
  • In collaboration with Pratham, distributed 10,500 Marathi language storybooks to 206 Ashramshala schools
  • Awarded 26 Android laptops to deserving students in classes 9 and 10
  • Reached over 30,000 students across 13 districts

  • Launched a 6-week Digital Summer Camp for 3,500+ registered students, covering specialized subjects like Coding, Astronomy, and English Literacy.
  • Successfully launched virtual academic sessions for Classes 8, 9, and 10 in the Nagpur region, delivering 260 hours of live instruction by the end of July.
  • Achieved an 80% increase in engagement with our YouTube learning resources, enabling 230+ schools and over 10,000 students to access bilingual worksheets and recorded lessons
  • Successfully launched virtual academic sessions for Classes 8, 9, and 10 in the Nagpur region, delivering 260 hours of live instruction by the end of July.
  • Facilitated the "Buddy Program" where mentors from IIT Powai guided students in critical life skills like time management and community awareness.
